Saw : How To Lose Friends And Alienate People
last night with doseybat
. I liked it, despite it being a bit too cringeworthy at times.
Seem to have stopped reading comics and have got back into reading books. Nation
, The Dispossessed
, Flowers for Agernon
, The Star Fraction
and The Left Hand of Darkness
in last couple of months. Now started World War Z
Changeling looks interesting, haven't seen Casino Royale so not sure about Qos. Currently waiting for Waltz with Bashir to turn up and wondering if the latest Neil Gaiman film will be better than the previous ones (Coraline with Henry Selick who did Nightmare before xmas and James and the Giant PEach and er Monkeybone which we don't mention)

The worst ones for me are some of Mr Bean, some of Keeping Up Appearances, and things like that. Some Mothers isn't quite as bad because I think he is stupid, but he doesn't violate the social contract through his own stupidity.
Interesting because I'd never considered that people had different cringe-scales.
Someone making a fool of themselves to another person because of lack of information, who will later realise the significance of what they did, is the typical thing that does it for me. Mr. Bean doesn't really invoke this much - well - not in the bits I remember.

i cant watch it because I know toby young, i went to school with him and my family is in regular contact with his extended family. The worst of it is that a lot of its true, and he knows it!
