My Own Worst Enemy by Lit
as sung by Feanor after his death
Can we forget about the things I swore when was I mad?
I didn't mean to call on that,
I can't remember what I vowed or what you doomed for me.
Please tell me, please tell me,
Why, the boats are all on fire,
And I charged a host of balrogs,
assaulted beasts of darkness, last night
And I'm dead, dead.
It's no suprise to me I am my own worst enemy
'cause every now and then I kick the living shit out of me
The Silmarils are all lost and there's an army, still fighting
Please tell me
Why, the boats are all on fire,
and I charged a host of balrogs,
assaulted beasts of darkness, last night
And i'm dead
Please tell me,
Why, the boats are all on fire,
and I charged a host of balrogs,
assaulted beasts of darkness, last night
It's no suprise to me I am my own worst enemy
'cause every now and then I kick the living shit out of me
Can we forget about the things I swore when I mad
I didn't mean to call on that.
Also, I made a start at a version of A Day in the Life by the Beatles, off Sgt Pepper, about the death of Turin, as sung by a random person. However this is not finished and is just the first verse.
I read /Annals/ this year, oh yeah,
about a cursèd man who mastered doom
and though the news was rather sad,
well, I just had to laugh,
I saw his epitaph
He cut his guts out with a blade,
he didn't realise that this was his fate
a crowd of people stood and stared
they'd seen his face before
nobody was really sure if they should cheer or mourn
Enough fun for tonight, I think I will go to bed.
